Terms and Conditions of Participation and Cancellation for TeachFair training courses
Registration
Please use our online registration form to register. Once we have received your registration, we will send a confirmation email to the email address of the contact person. Registration is binding upon receipt of the registration confirmation. The course fee will either be collected directly at the time of booking (e.g. via PayPal or credit card payment) or invoiced to the billing address provided at the time of registration. We reserve the right to cancel or postpone the training course.
Technical requirements for participation in the online training
Virtual events take place on Zoom and require version 5.13.5 or higher and a computer. Participation with an active camera and microphone is encouraged.
Please clarify with your institution's data protection officer whether you are allowed to participate before registering.
If you have special requirements or would like to make adjustments, please send an e-mail to support@teachfair.org. We will do our best to accommodate your needs to ensure access.
Course fee
The course fee can be found on the website. The course fee is due upon receipt of the invoice. Please state the invoice number in the subject line of the bank transfer.
Withdrawal from a training course
10 or more days before the start of the event: full refund
Less than 10 days before the start of the event: no refund
There is no refund for missed events
Cancellation is possible free of charge up to 10 days before the start of the event. If you cancel less than 10 days before the start of the event, we will charge 100% of the course fee. Withdrawal from a training course must be made in writing. The date of receipt shall apply.
In the event that you miss the training course or are unable to attend for technical or other reasons, the participation fee will not be refunded.
Transfer to another participant
Transfers can be made in writing by email up to 2 days before the start of the training course. The contact person named at the time of booking must send the following information to training@teachfair.org:
Last name, first name, email address of the person originally registered
Title and date of the event of the respective course
Last name, first name, email address of the replacement person
It is not possible to change participants during training courses lasting several days.
Cancellation of a training course
If an event does not take place, we will inform you immediately before the start of the event and - if possible - offer you an alternative date or refund any participation fees already paid immediately if you are unable to attend on the alternative date. Further claims are excluded.
Reminder fee for payment requests
If you forget to make a bank transfer to us, we will remind you the first time free of charge. We will charge you a fee of €5 / $5 for each subsequent payment reminder.
